Subject to legal review. Marketplace payment protection is not a licensed escrow or banking service.

Subject to legal review

Sellers compete on fit, price, trust, and fulfillment — not bait, spam, or counterfeit goods.

Sellers must

- Offer only items they legitimately own or are authorized to sell - Accurately identify the item (brand, model, variant, quantity) - Disclose condition and known material defects - Use current, representative photos where required - Provide realistic fulfillment dates and shipping or pickup terms - Not bait-and-switch after acceptance - Not sell counterfeit goods or use fake tracking - Not manipulate reviews or ratings - Not spam every request with irrelevant offers - Not provide misleading shipping costs - Preserve transaction evidence (pre-ship photos, tracking, handover confirmation) - Fulfill the accepted offer exactly as captured in the contract snapshot

Business sellers

Where a Business verification badge is shown, sellers remain responsible for applicable consumer and business obligations in their jurisdiction. The badge describes document review — not a licence endorsement by BuyerReq.
