What BuyerReq verifies

  • Account email ownership when email confirmation is completed
  • Optional identity / business document review when submitted and approved
  • Order and message records tied to the Handshake
  • Report evidence when a case is opened

Verification badges describe what was checked, not a guarantee of honesty.

What sellers declare

Sellers declare condition, ownership, details, photos, and shipping or pickup terms. BuyerReq does not independently authenticate every item unless a specific check is published for that case.

Money

BuyerReq does not hold, process, or transfer purchase money in Handshake mode. Handshake records that the buyer and seller agreed. Meet, shipping, and payment stay between them.

How Handshake works

The buyer accepts an offer, then confirms Handshake to record the deal. After that, both parties arrange meet, shipping, and money themselves.
